Obama Continues to bow to foreign leaders

His first bow I thought was pretty niave, but really only cared that he lied about it. Then there was another, and another... I don't understand the need Obama seems to have to bow to foreign leaders and then lie about it.

It is a sign of courtesy to asian people and part of a standard greeting to them.

I mean it is a sign of pussification and the president is lowering himself before his true master, the chinese.

As I said earlier, don't really care per se that he's bowing. I do care that he's embarrassed enough by it to lie to the American public about it, yet he continues to do it. One or the other Mr. President.

Where is he embarrassed and lying / hiding it from the American people? Its not like the caption of the photo says something like

"President Barack Obama greets (while coincidentally checking to make sure his shoes were shiny while he shook hands with) Chinese President Hu Jintao during the official arrivals for the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, Monday April 12, 2010."

This is such a stupid thread. Big fucking deal he bowed its customary to do so URGGGG! I'm sure the Chinese President either bowed first or afterward. Can't do it at the same time especially with Pres. Obama being quite a bit taller.

At least our current president isn't kissing / holding hands with another man.

If he's actually lying about it, I'd be more worried he's stupid enough to think there won't be pictures.

He didn't. Neither have any of the other foreign leaders Obama has bowed to.

I am pretty sure that is just an optical illusion based on the position of the camera and/or video put into still-frame, much like this picture of our current fearless leader:

The only reason he tries to qualify it is that every time he greets a foreign dignitary, Fox News and various other news agencies run headlines that say, "President submits himself to foreign rule once again!"

I have no problem with news agencies printing negative stories about Obama, just do it for a good reason.

I think you mean other politicians, not leaders.

I sure wouldn't use that to describe a politician. They just extort money from people and then spend it on what they want.
