| Anyone watching CNN's exclusive? Hezbollah has apparently changed their policy and allowed CNN cameras in to show some of the devestation that Israel's bombing is causing.. they're running through much of the rubble pretty fast because they're worried about it being bombed They're showing that much of the damage is to civilian areas, buildings, etc.. and they're saying that their military infrastructure has not really been very damaged. | ||||

| I don't think they're soley going for civilians, but I don't think they're exactly hesitating from firing on civilian areas where Hezbollah happens to reside. Obviously they've dropped leaflets, etc, and whatnot.. to help limit the numbers of civilian deaths, and obviously that's a good thing. But, I think they're basically setting back Lebanon (and that includes civilian infrastructure) back 20 years | ||||

| Israel has already taken out several missles furnished by Iran. Hizbullah's game is to roll them out of hiding and launch them before the IDF can spot them and take them out... they are trying to target military assets. if hizbullah (or hezbollah, whatever spelling you like) doesn't want civilian infrustructure to get destroyed then maybe they shouldnt setup shop in residential neighborhoods. | ||||

| I agree they shouldn't, but what happens to the civilians when they come into their area? As they get pushed back, they will enter new civilian areas, and I think civilians are rather underequiped to take them on and try to push them out of their neighboorhoods. I have an aquaintance who is living in Beirut atm and I know his area has suffered some damage. Somehow he's still managing to get online, but I don't know for how much longer that'll be the case. | ||||

at this point, civilians need to just get out by whatever means they can. I know its easy to say that, but really, your life is worth more than some material things. they should be able to find some shelter somewhere. is international aid and support kicking in? where is the red cross? these are just typical, disgusting tactics by terrorsts. they dont give a rats ass about the Lebenese populous. they cant win against the Israeli forces so they resort to hiding among civilians. | ||||

| the underlying problem that nobody in the media will mention is that it is very likely that most of the Lebanese, both army and civilians, supports Hezbollah when encountering Israel. they aren't ever going to fight each other over one side attacking Israel, even if gets their country all F'ed up | ||||

| My aquaintence from Beirut supports them, but I don't believe he voted for them or is a member. It's kind of a strange set of politics. | ||||
