I draw the line at the white house correspondent dinner, where jokes have been told by many presidents and others. It is a comical atmosphere.

So let's say Kerry said the same thing he said, but it was at the White House correspondent dinner.

if he was making fun of himself, sure. Maybe throw in a 'nam reference or whatever. That was what bush was doing, and what clinton used to do when he was in office
