I don't need to pay off some ass in government to help a fellow human. It is compassion, it is caring. It is not something for someone to get in the way of because they "think" that I may do harm.

You would be fined if you took out space in building and hired a few guys to make sandwiches and hand them out to homeless people in large numbers.

| So what if I am doing that to help people. I don't see one bit of difference from that and me individually doing it. | ||||

| At his carwashes, my dad used to pay these 2 homeless guys $1 a trash barrel to dump them and $5 to sweep the lot while he was there. On a good day who ever did it would get $10 bucks. They would go buy a sandwich, pint of gin, some juice, and 3 or 4 cigarettes at this place that sold them on an individual basis. He arrived every day around the same time, give or take 10 minutes. Eventually before he got there they started dumping half the barrels out on the ground and spread it out, thus requiring them to sweep, and nearly getting $10 every time. It was completely obvious when they did and he said something about it like 2 or 3 times to stop. The last time my dad told them to f-off and they were "fired". They came up like 4 or 5 more times to do it and he ended up yelling at them before they quit coming back. Just my quick homeless people story. | ||||

| They just want to be sure that some well meaning person doesnt go and start some soup kitchen and do it all wrong and end up making people sick or whatever else. When you involve a significant number of people in something like that you need controls. | ||||

| so what is the point of paying the tax if you want to help people? if you are going to poision someone, it doesn't quite matter, now does it. it prevents those that WOULD help people from doing so. it doesn't prevent those who would do harm from doing so. | ||||
