Not at all.

The government was once an extension of the free market. But once mandatory income taxes became law, it was no longer part of the free market.

And here's another.

1. you're assuming everyone knows what google is
2. you're assuming google doesn't have an interest in the search results outcome
3. you're assuming someone hasn't fucked with the search results to artificially get their page ranked higher

Last time I'll say it......these are the reasons why (whatever form of govt you say this is) will never be popular.
There are firms that already ceritify products OUTSIDE of the government

Operations like Consumer Reports would become more important.

Ingorance is not an excuse to not properly examine something.

just like anything else in the free market. if you don't like it, don't buy it and force the company out of business. IN this situation, if you don't like the income tax, move to another country that doesn't have one. Eventually everyone will leave the country and the US will know that an income tax is bad.

wait, you are equating not buying a product from some company to uprooting and moving to a different country?

That's a horrible analogy.

If I don't want to buy from Wal-Mart I don't move out of the country.

We continue to choose it by electing the people that we continue to elect. If you are displeased and want nothing to do with it, you are 100% free to move to another country.

I think it's a decent analogy. Sure, if you don't want to buy from walmart, all you have to do is go across the street. A small effort for a small benefit. But the income tax will affect you for the rest of your life and cost you hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of dollars, so while it's a greater effort to emigrate, it's also a greater reward. If you're a young libertarian with 20-30 working years left, why not seriously consider it? Or for that matter, if you're already a successful business person, why not seriously consider it?

It works fine. If you don't like walmart you go to thier comeptitor.

If you don't like the US, move to MOroco or Canada, or some other place that better suits your beliefs.

There is still a very stark difference. Wal-Mart isn't threatening me with violence if I don't shop there. America does.

Only if you steal from America. If you leave, and you are free to do so if you desire, there is no violence. If you stay here and use the services but refuse to pay, you are stealing and america will take action against you.

it would be like if you didn't like walmart but chose to continue shopping there but never pay them. Security will apprehend you and hand you over to the authorities

Last I checked America was committing acts of violence all over the world. You know, the things liberals hate that Bush is doing.
