I love Star Trek starting with the original when I was a kid. It was the shit for its time. I will still watch any TNG when I can, no matter how many times I might have seen that episode. I just have simple basic cable and cant ever find it anymore.

I love the way you guys have made the comparisons.

While I really enjoy the series (pretty much all of them) there is one thing the they really need to learn.

STOP BUILDING EXPLOSIVE POWER CONDUITS RIGHT UNDER CONTROL PANELS

I love Star Trek.. what a great series. I mean, not just for the Sci-Fi stuff, but because they really tackled a lot of social stereotypes on that show.

Their futuristic take of society has lead to a surprising number of new technologies.. NGO (or Discovery? Who knows) had some special on about all of the technology Shatner's character and Star Trek inspired people to invent.

G4 plays TNG and TOS various times throughout the day.

And Spike plays TNG daily, and I think DS9 ( at least they used to).

I remember reading something awhile ago that Spike is trying to get the permission to run all Star Trek series. If they did that, that'd be sweet.

Spike was supposed to get Voyager sometime this year, but it's not looking like that's happened.

All we need is Ballz and Maybe a few other GOP members to admit that they like star trek and we can all come together in peace and unity.

Sorry but Star Trek is a socialist's dream, something most conservatives don't support.....

Capitalism wouldn't quite be the same if anything we wanted could be made out of thin air.

Star Trek is a socialist's dream, and if socialism really did end up like Star Trek, I'd become a socialist right this minute!
