| The nuclear warhead documents posted on internet; proof Saddam was seeking them? There was a big stink about an article the NYT posted regarding documents obtained from Saddam and Iraq being posted on the internet, and the possibility it's giving other countries information they shouldn't have. It's good that they took it down, but one thing not really discussed much; is that more proof that Saddam was in fact still in pursuit of nuclear warheads? He was in fact obsessed with attaining them.  | ||||

| He didn't have the capability to make them and did not posses them as we were told. I would be obsessed with getting nuclear warheads/WMD/Anything to keep people away too if I were in charge of Iraq at that time. Iran is next door trying to make nukes and their angry. Secular Saddam was not popular in the world of the religious zealots and had a target on his back from his previous actions. As far as the nuke plans go, he can want in one hand and shit in the other. See which fills up first. He didn't have nukes or the ability to make them. If we invaded every country that wanted a nuke, we would be invading everyone. | ||||

| It seems odd to me that there is so much concern as to the secret of the generic model of nuclear weapon. Any country with someone with a doctorate in nuclear physics and a person with a doctorate in mechanical engineering should be able to sketch up the equations in a few days. Hell I could ms paint the structure of a few atom bombs right now if I wanted. I'd just be missing the equations for material and dimensions. | ||||
