| You can't call limited knowledge of people who've had issues representitive of everyone. It may be that the system is riddled with problems and everyone DOES have problems, but can't base it on you knowing a few people who have them. | ||||

But I'm sure you can also find people who have had good experiences as well. If you take the whole and there's more good than bad, then it isn't necessarily a BAD system... but you still have to compare it to other systems. The current system we have is pretty bad because it costs so much, but personally, I don't advocate that one either. I want less regulation and more information and a LOT less legistlation to promote competition and drive down prices. In real dollars, medical expenses have gone up by an insane factor in the past 30 years (granted, medical science is a lot better now, but that's not enough of a stimulus to increase it as much as it has). I think with less expensive healthcare, people can get the care they need and still be able to afford to eat.
