If the Dems take the house, but not the Senate...

As it is looking like will be the case: Will anything get done in the next 2 years or will they just bicker and stone wall eachother?

But any bill that the house produces has to pass the senate right? So if the GOP retains control of the senate won't they block that sort of legislation?

If they do, the GOP will somehow declare victory, and some pundits will actually buy that because they get paid to be republican talking heads

Bush and the Senate have already passed the amnesty bill; or at least they show full support for it. I believe the House is the only one left, or they were the only ones not in support of it. I might have it backwards

Bicker and Stonewall is my vote. If the the dems take both the House and Senate though it will be worse as the gov't will completely stop for hearings leading up to impeachment. I don't like the way the GOP has taken us, but I also am not looking forward to the Dems likely path either.
