| Ben Nelson - Senate Jim Esch - Congress and i found this quote from the local paper... and rofl'd my lol's off I like to get out and vote pro-life," said the mother of two. She pulled out a voters guide on the issue. Even though the guide endorsed both Pete Ricketts, a Republican, and Ben Nelson, a Democrat, Raabe said she opted for Ricketts for the U.S. Senate. "He's a little more conservative," she said. It's important, she said, to keep Republicans in control so the party can finish what has been started. Finish what they started??? WTF did they start? | ||||

Anyways, voted early before work, about 9am. Probably 20-25 people there, a dozen electronic machines. They gave us a electronic card to put in the machine, and warned us not to touch the gold metal on the top. I'm not keen on the idea that someone can screw up my vote by touching the card, but hey whaddya gonna do? No reciept. The machine worked well and it only took about 5 minutes or so. Voted Democratic unless the Democrat was an incumbent and there was a Libertarian, then, I voted Libertarian. Voted for the unopposed Republicans, and on the local issues, which are pretty boring here in Georgia. One of the candidates in my area is named Rich Golick. Think about it. | ||||

| I am so sad. I spent about an hour filling out my absentee ballot this morning, and intended to take it to the polling place after my errands to the library and the grocery store, but I started having contractions in the bread aisle, and by the time I got home, I had to go lay down and wait for them to go away. They were still coming, so I couldn't go turn it in. But, had I been able to go down and turn it in... Arnold for Gov Jerry Brown for Attorney General Feinstein for Senator (No way was she going to loose.) Ed Royce (R) for Congress (No way was he going to loose either.) I didn't vote for any of the judges. I didn't vote yes for any of the spending bills, except for the Sex Offender bill (because I live next to a park and a school...) Voted NO on the Parental Notification Prop Voted Yes on limiting Emminent Domain And I think that would have covered it. | ||||
