Not only do the tards up here continue to vote Kennedy into office, they also voted to keep wine from being sold in grocery stores. Their reasoning? 'First it's the wine, but what's next, wanting to sell beer in the stores?!' Seriously, these people have their brains up their asses....

| Wow, I had no idea. First time I encountered those was in Myrtle Beach. I was there on a business trip with someone from Jersey and we flipped when we could even buy beer on a sunday before the football games started. What kind of a dumb ass law makes it so you can't buy certain things on certain days? Locals know to stock up. It's not like it keeps people from drinking. | ||||

| Mass now allows beer sales on sunday. There are still dry towns, but the state isn't saying they have to be, the towns keep voting to keep it that way. And Mass now allows tattooing. And Mass now allows stores to open before noon on sunday (but not on thanksgiving) so the state is changing, albeit slowly. | ||||

| I remember that from when I lived there. They can sell wine coolers in the local 7-11 but no beer or wine in the super markets. When I moved to NJ I thought it was so strange that the supermarket had a wine section. It's not really that big of a deal honestly. Most people still buy thier booze from the local liquor store anyway. | ||||

| What's the reason for not selling wine in grocery stores? That sounds absurd. | ||||

I think NH is worse unless they have changed it. You could only buy hard liquor at special state liquor stores. | ||||

| When I first moved to NC you couldn't buy anything on Sunday (except gas) before 1:00. That has gone away but you still can't buy beer/wine on Sunday before 1:00. They do sell Beer and wine in grocery stores though. Have for as long as I have been here (+20 years). What's strange is going home to IL to visit and walking through the grocery store there and seeing Vodka, Gin, Whiskey, etc on the selves Not that it's wrong, just strange. | ||||
