Humans May Stay Young For 400 Years

Seems they've found and figured out how to deactivate the aging gene. If he same results can be shown in Humans... 400 years of life and young until the last few years? I'm game.

I would say that you would have an extra 300 years in which something bad could happen that send you down the suicide road.

This is genetic, that 25% would be 75% inside a century unless you sterilize them.

It still presents a challenge in the mean time. with even say 500,000 people drawing on SS for 200 years rather than 10 or 20, the budget would quickly get depleted. There are probably other areas of concern as well. The movie Gattaca comes to mind

I am trying to make the point that expanding human longevity by a factor of 4 would be great for the individual but would present some real problems for a society which has been built around people living 85 years or so.
