Tom Vilsak for President 08

It seems the Iowa politician Tom Vilsak is starting an early campaign; obviously a sign that he has little money and needs to raise some, and needs to get his name out.

Is he a worthy candidate?

Iowa? I can already hear the corny jokes.

Vasoline, or whatever his name is, doesn't sound "American" enough, like "Bush" or "Clinton".

He's also not nutwing- uh, I mean left wing, enough, and it'll get pointed out that he's part of the Democratic Leadership Council.

Personally, if there was a bad enough repubilcan and no libertarian, I'd actually vote for the guy for President. He seems to align with policies I agree with, such as renewable energy and supporting American business and jobs.

Hopefully it'll drain enough Iowa votes from Edwards, and he'll drop out

Richardson or Clark, that's the real ticket...who knows if the Democratic primary voters in a select few states will wise up to that
