Will the same people still say "Oh stop crying about being the minority...it doesn't mean that you can't do anything"? I always found that line of thought amazing. The Democrats, who had no power at all, were chastized left and right for not being able to "do anything" except things ...

| The Republicans aren't in as much of a minority. But now the Democrats and liberals have to understand that everything negative in this country is their fault. If I stub my toe on the coffee table I'm blaming Pelosi. The last 6 years taught me this is how it's supposed to work. | ||||

| So when the Republicans controlled the House and Senate, everything was their fault. When the Republicans were in power under Clinton everything was there fault. But now that we have a Republican president everything is still the Republican's fault. Interesting. No accountability for their own party. | ||||

If the Democrats were not blaming Bush they blamed, Cheny, Rumsfield, Rice, Rove etc. You see it was always thier right to pick who they wanted to blame. You have the same right. However remember this your rights are never as important as thier rights this I learned long before the last 6 years. I will give just one good example. They have the right to tell you that you earned too much money. So it is thier right to take more money from you ,taxes, to give to others people that did not work, will not work and depend upon them for housing, food, medical care and a cash check . Now a common man would believe this is out and out buying those people's vote. Wrong, it is merely the Democrats teaching you and others that they know best about your personal finances. They decided you do not need that money and the mere fact you are the one that worked for it is nothing. They know best. Prove me wrong anybody..._ Tyr

The Republicans know better how to spend your money as well, they just spend it in different areas and spend just as much. Then they make tax cuts and run up the debit so future generations can pay it.

However the tax cuts stimulated economic growth while the other turned many people into government welfare leeches. The Republicans recieved a slap this election for thier over spending . I know that I held them accountable and took action about that also._Tyr

And one needs only to examine evidence to find exactly that; The "global network terrorist threat" isn't a reality and never has been. In an order to push their own ... Struassian agenda upon this nation and unite us under a single (albeit false and deceitful) cause.

| "Spend as bad as democrats" is a ridiculous statement. While they both spend outrageous amounts of money, democrats have been the party of fiscal responsibility. There is an actual cost that people feel when they pass things. Whether you want to give credit to clinton or not, he did sign one of the most comprehensive welfare reform bills ever. Sure the republican congress may have come up with it, but he could have veto'd it just the same. The last three republican presidents have been responsible or signed spending bills which have amounted to 79% of our debt. 10% of the debt came from 1776-1980. The other 10% came from 1992-2000. Democrats are the spenders though. | ||||

| It's recently been suggested that Republicans, while still the minority, may actually do some good and try to filibuster the immigration issue. | ||||

| I agree, but his issue is separate from the border. This issue is about what to do with the illegals that are here. | ||||

| Unfortunately, they already passed an immigration bill in the senate...all that is needed now is for the democratic house to pass the exact same bill, and there can be no filibuster oh snap | ||||
