Nice video. Since they finally got data at 4.9 and 5 sigma, im excited to see when they officially say its the higgs. as of the moment, theyre basically just saying we have confirmation on a new particle that behaves in a manner consistent with the theorizes higgs boson. Exciting shit man

So now we know the Standard Model is right, Special Relativity is flawed (the speed of light can be exceeded) and we're finding planets within reach of our probes (and even humans if we send them in cryo) that may vary well be habitable. All in the last 2 years, fun times we live in.

They were able to replicate the experiment and discounted computer gliches. Granted that doesn't prove anything as it was done by the same lab but it's a compelling argument for the validity of the discovery.

I'm not sure about exceeding the speed of light. Are you referring to the CERN experiment? I believe it turned out to be a glitch
