| Because "leftism" (or "rightism") is a key poltical value.  And "abortion" is such a major political issue. Nevermind that taxes are going up, our government is almost irreversably corrupt, our spending is going up, social security is doomed, etc. when there's a possibility that women might (or might not) get abortions and gays might (or might not) get married.    | ||||
