Abovecia00 type threads are begining to dominate without the regulars there to push them to page 2.

And I have noticed tons of new people posting in there. What's the deal with that(other than garbage threads getting moved there)?

Trash likes company. It's the only unmoderated forum where you can do whatever you want. Even Afterhours is moderated. It's gonna get filled with people who want to test the limits of an unmoderated OT forum. It's why the forum will fail and it's why we created LibertyLounge.

I know how he feels... it's hard not to post there when the ratio of idiots to non-idiots is way skewed now. I have to not even read the threads, or I end up hurting my head on my keyboard.

think how stupid glen would look if 90% of the threads are aboveCIA and the others are just as moronic

The reason there's so many "new posters" isnt because there's an influx of people interested in it, it's because threads are being moved that normally wouldn't have made the cut.

The number of new posts and threads has gone down quite a bit.

I'll say it again though, I'd much prefer if we spent our time on making this place the best we can make it rather than worrying about DIAC or being spiteful about it. What's done is done and I'm perfectly content to let them do as they see fit and continue building upon the ex-DIAC community here instead

Yeah, I have no spite whatsoever, but since we weren't "allowed" to talk about diacf's imminent death on OT, I think a lot of us just need a little vent time

It'll pass, let a lot of the people get over here and say their peace, and we'll be back in the groove in no time.
