if hezbos don't wear uniforms, how do we distinguish?

if hezbollah wear civilian clothes, how do we know (besides the obvious women and children) who are civilians and who aren't? how do we believe the 'civilian death' count?

we don't.

israel returns fire to the location from which the rocket came and then they go home and get a good night's sleep.

hezbo is not an army.....is palestine even technically a country? how can people talk about "war crimes" when there's no army, no country, and no declared war?

That's why the Geneva Conventions do not apply in this case.

so since hezbollah are civilians, should the israeli govt be charged with murder for each person they kill without a trial?

If they're not afforded the protections of the geneva conventions / any military law, they must be covered by civilian laws, right??

I believe when someone fires a rocket the military has the right to fire back.

Criminals that shoot people on the streets of America are not covered by the Geneva Conventions... so you pose a good question. My next question would be to which country's laws are those people (criminals.. those not covered by the Geneva Conventions) held accountable? The country in which the crime took place or the country where the offender lives?

I would assume (dangerous I know) that it would be akin to someone shooting people on the highway from an overpass. The police (Israel) come along, try to talk him/her (Hezbollah) down (put down the weapon, etc..) and the criminal (Hezbollah) makes the choice not to, and in turn, are shot and killed by the police officers (Israel).

While the officers are put on administrative leave while there is an investigation, there is no charge of murder.

Isreal openly admitted that they missed their target. Didn't they kill like 36 children? This was something I saw on Fox News on Saturday, anyway. They had someone from Isreal making a statement apologizing for missing their target. I just thought to myself, "lol oopsies we meant 4 teh rokit 2 go o'er tehr ... mustv'e cuaght sum wind lol." Seriously, why do they even apologize for that? It's like they're throwing darts, but everytime they miss, innocent people die.

I'm not sure if this thread was in regards to the same attack that I'm talking about. I'm not following this war all that well. It's just religious people killing religious people, and I'm not particularly fond of religion or its people ... so I suppose you might be able to tell why I don't particularly care who wins or loses.

I just view this as infantile bickering ... but between adults and with guns!

You can tell because the civillians don't have weapons and are not firing at anyone.

Is every location attacked by Israel a location they were attacked from.

Killing civillians who are not involved is unaccpetable

you put an israeli (as many as are needed) into the area and they 'mark' the targets with a freakin laser. you then send an aeroplane over with just enough ordinance to take out the target (not necessary to take out the whole block) and you pat yourself on the back.

If they aren't military aged men are almost always civilians

Also, this whole thread is a joke, Israel has killed "dozens" of Hezbollah fighters and none of them were dressed like city civilians as far as Israel has said, they have Uniforms they wear all the time during parades and during combat
