Congressional corruption is a completely different issue and many votes were cast against the Reps for that reason. Money is primarily at the root of corruption as well as the basis for these investigations. Having said that, I certainly hope the Dems know that they will need to purge their own right along with the Reps. For the most part however, they are doing what they were voted into office to do, expose corruption and get rid of it.
