| With rumsfeld i dont really blame the president for doing what he did. He didn't have a confirmed replacement for him and probably hadn't even officially asked rumsfeld to resign yet. Its one of those, do you want rumsfeld to hear from the news that he was fired instead of the president first? I agree with tucker that he could have answered it differently, such as 'he is doing a great job bla bla' and then move on. | ||||

| I agree with carville that there are some races that could really have used some funding. Jim Esch could have probably defeated Lee Terry in nebraska's second district had there been more advertising. Terry, in this state that didn't vote blue since LBJ, only won like 53-47 and Esch had about 4 commericals run total. He refused any major contributions from business and only took up to $1000 from individuals. If the DNC helped him out a little bit he would have won. | ||||
