| I think I'm onto something....v.Seinfeld Moment So my son is in love with this new show on the weekend on Playhouse Disney called Mickey Mouse's Fun House or something like that. There is a character in the show called "Toodles" and it's this like, tool helper, that gives Mickey Mouse tools to solve problems. So in the show, the characters call "TOOOOODDDDLLLLES!" so my son says it with them naturally. My Husband heard me and my son innocently calling to the TV TOOOOODLLES! when he told me not to teach my son that. I was like...Why not? He told me that Toodles was "A gay word" or a term that "gay people use", to which he mimicked in an affeminant way. I told him "Bobby, I don't believe that words in themselves have a sexual nature, you are trying to claim "Toodles" as homosexual verbage, and I don't believe the "gays" own that word". He busted up because I said "HOMOSEXUAL VERBAGE" and he said that I just made that up. So, is there Homosexual verbage? Is there a language or words reserved for homosexuals and not heterosexuals? | ||||

| Homosexual verbiage? I don't know.... I don't think that homosexuals have any particular or seperate vocabulary that is all their own or anything that draws out their speaking practices... but I'm not homosexual, so I dunno. But nah... I don't think "Toodles" is a 'gay' word. I've heard rich snobby girls say toodles before and 'ta ta for now'.. which Tigger (from Disney) *also* says... so.... yeah. As far as your husband and his 'toooodles' repulsion... he sounds like my husband. I normally just ask him, "Don't you have something better to do?" | ||||
