about the thousands of state assembly/senate positions, one constitutional member...C Party is not libertarian...that'd like me saying if Rudy wins, the Democrats won because he has many similiarity in issues with moderate Democrats

Constitution Party is libertarian.

Clearly you have to agree with and promote every aspect of the LP Platform to be a libertarian.

Just pray to God that we all don't show up and vote.
most liberals don't vote, they are too busy enjoying their life in the liberal elite

Just pray to God we all don't show up and vote. We'd have this country running like Peking

libertarians "not voting because they don't like the system" is probably the dumbest fucking idea I have ever heard of in regards to trying to change the system. If libertarians are truly that stupid, I do not want them in any position of power.

The group that wants us to have smaller government and follow the constitution is not participating in a fundamental part of what created that constitution in the first place. That is just ..... retarded any way you slice it.

Im pretty sure the founders cherished liberty not democracy. If a government is truly limited and abiding by the Constitution, then voting wouldnt matter that much

Actually the founding fathers believed if you didn't use the courts and your vote, you were a fucking idiot and if you gave up on that you weren't a real citizen and if you tried things outside that you were a traitor

Thats why in the Declaration of Independence they explicitly mentioned Locke's right of rebellion?

And as for the Courts, many of the founders warned about placing too much authority in the Supreme Court. Gotta love your reading of US history

Got to love the founding fathers and how they acted to the whiskey rebellion

destroying their right to rebel and establishing that they had no real grievance because they could vote and they had a court system in place

I am pretty sure they still teach that in US History 101?

It means you don't have one in the US, not unless you want to be sentenced to hang as a traitors as were the Whiskey rebels

natural right? Like the laws of nature?

Strange, no matter how you try, you can't violate the laws of gravity, yet any one with a gun can violate your right to live in a second

wow, how about I turn your logic on you?

"Thats strange, you can cry over the 4th amednment all you want, but Bush is still wiretapping you lol!"

Ill post what I did in another thread in reagrds to natural rights -

“For if there is no higher law, there is no basis for saying that any man-made law is unjust…and, in such case, the ultimate reason for things, as Justice Holmes himself conceded, is force. If there is no natural law, there are no natural rights; and if there are no natural rights, the Bill of Rights is a delusion, and everything which a man possesses—his life, his liberty and his property—are held by sufferance of government, and in that case it is inevitable that government will some day find it expedient to take away what is held by such a title as that. And if there are no eternal truths, if everything changes, everything, then we may not complain when the standard of citizenship changes from freedom to servility and when democracy relapses into tyranny.”

uhm, the FOUNDING FATHERS handled the whiskey rebellion, not George Bush

There are natural laws, they can not be violated...you attach everything you "think should be a right" as a natural law...again that doesn't make sense because natural laws can not be violated and the rights you list can...

Even though that basic fact exists, the Bill of Rights has protected people for hundreds of years...and as such, can not be just "a delusion"

Well the way i see it the party has two choices if they want to change the way things are going....

Mobilize a massive fund raising campaign, raise awareness of their party, and win votes.

OR

Mobilize any militia they can find, become "insurgents" or "freedom fighters" (which ever label you prefer), and overthrow the government.

Though both are extremely challenging, raising money and winning votes is the easier route.

If they never do either, especially outright refusing to vote because they dont like it, than they deserve no change. The founders chose this republic and wrote this constitution so that you can choose your representative in government. It is nobodies fault but the libertarian for not choosing their representative.

The population voting did not create the Constitution.
