| I dont think I have ever seen a comedian clear a room like that. Looked like occupational suicide to me. This was proof that this word still incites much emotion in our society. This one word embodies the justification for centuries of enslavement and all that it includes. Although slavery ended over a hundred years ago, the racism still exists today. The fight for civil rights in this country is still very recent and spoke of at Thanksgiving Dinners, 4th of July BBQ's and family get togethers. For millions of Americans, the word nigger still implies that one is subhuman and not worthy of personal freedoms. There will continue to be extreme sensitivity to the "N" word, until another 2 or so generations pass. Ask any of your parents that grew up in the South. They will remember the signs, "Whites Only", etc. They were everywhere.

| He was just on Letterman it was sad i dont think a lot of the people in the audience saw the video so when he started talkin they started laughing and Sienfeld had to yell at them "don't laugh its not funny" they didn't pre-empt the show with the video, probably just to keep the flames down |
