| About polls for a second: Here are Rasmussen polls from 2000: Oregon - They had Bush by 5, Gore won by 1 Arkansas - They had Gore by 2, Bush won by 6 Maryland - They had Gore by 1, Gore won by 17 Out of 6 polling services who did numerous state polls in 2000 (including Zogby, Research 2000, Mason/Dixon, FoxNews, ARG), Rasmussen ranked 6th, Dead Last in accuracy. However, in 2004, they were by far 1st in accuracy, while Zogby towards the end If I had to pick the most reliable poll...it'd be Mason Dixon, but they don't poll nearly as often as Rasmussen does, and Zogby's new system seems to be strange to pollsters and on election day 2004 he was off almost as bad as Rasmussen was in 2000 I think next post I am going to use Zogby and Rasmussen together, however I will not say one or the other is left/right leaning... | ||||

Yes, it's an internal poll--but consider this: -it's 1118 likely voters -it's statewide -it's skewed conservative (like the state) with a sample group consisting of 48% conservatives, 32% moderates, and 14% liberals. -in fact, this poll is so skewed conservative, it's got Bush with a 51% approval rating, compared to 39% on SurveyUSA. -it's got a margin of error of only 2.9%. | ||||
