You talk about the market like it's one person or a group of wealthy individuals. The Market is the desires of everyone. If you want to go to Mars, then YOU can try to get us there, but why make me help if I don't want to go? (I mean, rhetorically, I doubt you want to physically go to mars, but perhaps to send a rover there is what you want).

All the good products that came from NASA would have most likely been fulfilled naturally. The information and feats of engineering that NASA has achieved may or may not have. But I'm not going to sit here and say "well, maybe we should put our money into XX research since it worked so well for NASA" because I do NOT think it NECESSARILY worked so well for NASA.

It all really boils down to forcing people to financially help with something that may or may not benefit them and/or others.

Maybe because too many people that would have affected those inventions were dying because of globalist wars and because of the Stock Market crashing as a result of the government interfering into the lives of people?

Slavery? Well, if there wasn't a demand for it on the market, they'd be free!

That's right. That's not what happened in the rest of the Western world. Not at all.

I talk about the market like people who are mainly interested in profit, because that's what it is. Is there any financial benefit in going to Mars?

Probably not directly, but that hardly means it's not "worth it"

Like I said, we might have had them eventually. But if you're someone who's benefitted from some of the life saving technology, "naturally" might have been too slow. You might not care, but I bet that person and their family does.

Why would I want us to progress slower than possible when it comes to medical development, scientific advancement, etc? I wouldn't.

I'm not denying that.

I'm just saying I don't view the market as some sort of diety that should be worshipped and deferred to at all costs like Libertarian's do, because we don't live in a perfct world.. and the market they think exists really doesn't.

You're right, I've said 100 times the market needs help. But not by taking from it to concentrate on a specific portion of it... only through information propagation, which was PROVEN to accentuate without hurting it.
