Solution for the middle east

First we have to look at the problem.
1. There are militant groups that are completly dead set on destroying the west.

What can we do about this?
2.Try to teach the militans to get out of the 12th century crusade mind set.

Best method...
3.Organize the groups like a puzzle until they are all happy where they are.
4.Teach them the way that the koron was meant them to be. "Because this is the only way they will change."
5.Start building up there countrys and atempt to mimic ower ways of liveing." at least in the ways of health and learning."
6.Them slowly indocternate a respectable military into there countrys.

This is the best way, but not the most practical way. Any other ideas?

I don't see it as much different than the gang activity I see in the LA Area. You try to change the minds and perspectives of the ones that can be saved. But be realistic about the ones who are beyond that. Their lot is prison and the grave.

If people's hearts and minds can't be changed on a simple discussion forums like this, what makes you think that the militant's minds and hearts can be changed?

It can be changed in the way there religion is tought. That is there main reasons for doing what they do, the only way to change the idea is to replace it with a better one. The change would be over a period of time, but in the end it could work.

How are you going to get control of the education system?

Supposing that you do manage this, how will you counter any attempt by Jihadists to set up their own new alternate version?

It means organize the different groups "sunnies,curds,shites ect." So there wont be as much civil strife.

Try an old trick. Get control of there chruch because that is there only true athority. How to do that would take a great amount of time and effort to carry out. But if that could be done it would fix the problem instantly.

I belive we should break up there country into 3 parts. Then organize a government for each newly found government. Then put military bases along there borders. Then we see what happens, if it all falls apart......pull out.

To get control of there government make them a commonwealth of america. This would more than likly not work out, but if it did we would have a stronger grip on them. There are a great amount of if's in trying to find a solution.

I would like to see good come out of now but its not looking bright.

Turkey, our ally, wouldn't approve of a Kurdish state on their border. So that option will not likely happen.
Control of their government is exactly what we don't what. We want them to run their selves.

I think the key is updating their infrastructure. They need more access to the world so they have something to judge their existence by. They need several networks, papers, magazine, internet, TVs, Walmarts, Coke, McDonalds. Make them happy, make the productive, give them reason to want to be competitive in the world market place. They have been living without motivation for 100 years and its not going to be easy for them to re integrate into a world that has moved beyond them. They need exposure.
