I think I'm gonna get the boys a Wii for Christmas... But worry a bit because of this

I picked up 2 Wii's yesterday when our Target got a shipment in. Yeah!!!! I had to open one up to *ahem* "test" it before the kids got home. What a friggen blast. I'm not normally a console game player. But I have a feeling that is all going to change with this thing

I am amazed at how well it interprets your movements for the bowling/golf/tennis/baseball games. Boxing was a little strange, but still fun. After about 15 minutes of tennis I was actually sweating.
CI'm not sure how I'm going to not play this again before Christmas....

why's boxing strange? I've never seen how the controller works (except for the video above).........how's it work?

With boxing you use two controllers that are hooked up with a cable. They call the 2nd controller a nunchuck. In the boxing game you tilt the controllers back to get your hands up and make head punches. tilt them forward to protect your body and make body punches. You can do round house punches, upper cuts, jabs etc. It is really good, but doesn't feel as natural as the other games. The bowling and tennis are perfect. You use the controller just like you would use a racket or release a ball, including twisting your wrists at the right time to put spin on the balls. It's amazing.

u hike the ball by cocking hand back then choosing who u throw to then throw with ur hand to pass...the pass is sensitive to your throw

move left hand left or right to juke players...cock hand back to jump back during running.
