| Which investigations should we really have? With all of the talk of a democratic house and senate there are rumors of investigations and such into certain things about Iraq. There is speculation about investigations into profiteering, prewar intelligence failures, and a variety of other things. Which things are worth investigating? All of them? None of them? Personally I think investigations can be very divisive and may actually take effort away from more important things. At the same time I think they are necessary as a means for oversight and enforcing the checks and balances. I believe we should investigate profiteering and anything that has led to extreme waste of tax payer money. What ever happened to that 9 BILLION dollars that just "accidentally" went missing. 9 Billion dollars is waaay to much money for nobody to know about it, and way to much money to slip under "3rd world accounting". Someone needs to have their ass in jail for that. I think an investigation into the prewar intelligence failure would end up a waste of time and money. Though i really do feel they left out any details that may not help their agenda, by the time the investigation is done with they would be out of office. Not to mention we already know some of the intelligence said they had weapons, most thought they had weapons, and we now know he did not have weapons. So what is there really to investigate at this point? | ||||

| I would agree on prewar intelligence. I think the message has been sent on that issue. Beating a political dead horse will do neither party any good. | ||||
