| The US attitude towards the UN (along with most nations, for that matter) is seeing it as a tool to get what they want instead of working together. Bolton was not there with the idea of working with the UN but using it. Most other nations have similar positions hence why it is "useless". A group of people working towards different goals at least some of them will consider the organisation useless. | ||||

The point I am making is when the US complains about the UN being useless it seems to line up with the UN not doing what the US wants. The UN should be nations coming together to work on common goals and problems. The difficulty is the viewpoints of the nations involved are extremely diverse making it hard to come to many agreements. | ||||
