Yep. She's too young to understand what any of that means so all the words are someone else's....someone who apparently doesn't think s/he would do a good job of getting those ideas across without the extra props (the girl, the clothes, the swearing, etc).

The only thing that I could actually agree with that kid is that kids need to be taught empathy, and they aren't taught enough of it these days.

Otherwise...boo for her being a prop. Her arguements don't need to come from her mouth to be valid.

The "Republican Party" attack was pretty stupid, considering the point of the video is to be more lax on video game censorship and it's Hilary Clinton that's leading the anti-violent video game bullshit.

Are they out there to act or to be a mouthpiece for a message that wouldn't be as effective if it was spoken by the author? I'm all for kids acting. I'm against using kids to send messages that should be made by adults.

There's a commercial with a fatherly-looking guy on some railroad tracks and there's a train coming. The commericial is about global warming. The train is getting closer and the guy makes some statement about "if you're not going to do it for us............." and steps out of the way so you can see a little girl on the tracks. That pisses me off and IMO hurts that message more than helps it. I don't fault the girl for being a paid actor and taking that job, I fault the person who put her there as a prop (I've been looking for the right word and that's it, thanks wonderland). If the best way you can illustrate your "global warming hurts the future" message is to put a girl on railroad tracks to illustrate her imminent death, you suck at getting across a message.

First I felt anger. Then I felt "exactly who made this?" so I could figure out if it's someone I buy from so I could stop.

I stopped reading after 'Godless liberal.' I wonder how THAT kind of hatespeak is spread from generation to generation? Shame on those parents of yours. Hypocrisy anyone?

I wonder if the same people would be posting in here if the ad was hilary clinton and joe lieberman saying "violent/racy video games are bad for our children" followed by a speech given by one of the kids. Liberal though they are, the message is congruent enough with social conservatism to avoid the fiery responses in here thus far. I think the emotional response to this video has less to do with the fact there's a child in it and more to do with it's content. After all, children have been used for emotional/political manipulations for centuries, including the last election, so why no outcry about those ads? Too bad everyone doesn't realize the 'for the children' argument is retarded no matter what it's used to justify.

Sorry, but our children must be safe at all costs. Right just don't matter when making our children safe. They simply must be protected against those who would harm them. They are our future and have a whole life in front of them.
