I agree. if they are discrimination on religious / sexual basis then the public shouldn't support them.

If they were not discriminating, that would be different.

Perhaps Gene did not want the Federation to have a money standard, but in the series, they DID.

the KKK are christian, whether you like it or not, and it was still a christian symbol. and you ignored the others?


btw, it wasn't simply a question of whether the boy scouts were religious, it was that they were given it virtually rent free, as opposed to other groups who payed full price.

from all the other shit they do.

It's always convenient to ignore the fact that the ACLU represents pretty much anyone they feel has a civil liberties case

I think it's somewhat refreshing to see an organization not bound by "political correctness" when it comes to what they're willing to defend, ie: the NAMBLA case, as long as they feel there are civil rights being violated.
