Lesser of two evil's is no way to vote. Personally I am sick of it but it doesn't seem to be getting any better anytime soon.

I think we all know the reason they're doing this, and frankly I think the Presidency is a little too important to be handed out on the basis of affirmative action. Plus I don't trust people who are always smiling. And then there's the simple fact that I want the Democrats to win in 2008 (unless they nominate Hillary), and I don't think a young Black freshman Senator from a no-contest blue state who's middle name is "Hussein," and who's father was a Muslim (unless I'm mistaken), is going to be the next President of the United States.

You can safely assume that at least one of the candidates on the Democratic ticket will be a White male.

You're making good points, however, I think the guy is qualified, in fact at this point I'd go so far to say the less time in washington the better. I wont vote for the guy, he's far to left for me, but I love watching him speak and listening to him.

I hope she does win the democratic primary because that would mean automatic victory for republicans.

In a general election, Hilary is not remotely close to being electable.

That is pretty much word for word what I heard about Clinton in 96 or 92 for that matter

The irony of you being a Republican is amusing to me.

And Hillary won't win the primary.

People who thought Clinton had no chance in '92 had foolishly bought into the idea that merely because the Republicans had won the last three Presidential elections, they were going to win all the others too. Three victories in a row is not that big a deal; it'd take about seven consecutive wins before we start thinking in terms of a one-party state. But such vapid and historically ignorant stupidities are commonly encouraged by the loathsome degenerates in the dominant mass media, and t.v. is where most people get what they imagine to be their own ideas.

1996 was a different story, however. Clinton didn't win that election, the Republicans lost it by nominating Bob Dole. I can only the assume the leaders of the Republican Party, who undercut far more formidable candidates like Lamar Alexander and Patrick Buchanan, simply weren't interested in winning. Or perhaps they'd gone senile. You don't nominate Bob Dole for President if you want to win the election. I mean come on.
