Rush is definitely saying women come up, get fed, loved, and then go about their business.. just like his cat. Any woman who would think to hook up with Rush... should probably poop in his laundry room in the hamper and apologize for mistaking it for a litter box

yeah and on inhaling "that was the point" is kind of a good answer to deflate the entire thing.

The book slippery slope is BS. "Nazi" is not a religion. That comparison is like sayin..."Dr. Suess is jesus so I want to swear on The Cat in the Hat". Its not going to happen.

I think it is as equal of level of silly to suggest if we don't protect marriage and let gays get married then people are going to start marrying their horse or dog. The argument can be framed "if we don't protect swearing on the bible people are going to swear on the nazi bible by hitler"

What happens when a witch gets elected?

Personally I believe PART of the reason this country was founded was the basis of a freedom of religion, to worship as they please. They left a place which was telling them "you can only have this as your religion". The self righteous notion that it was founded on christianity makes me want to puke

Does anyone? You know, other than "President" Bush and Jonah Goldberg?

How is this even a controversy? What next? "Public Outraged Because Jewish Guy Celebrates Hannukah; Riots Ensure when Bhuddist Denies Divinity of Christ; Hindus Massacred for Disdaining Meat Loaf." The guy is a Muslim; if people have a problem with that, they shouldn't have elected him. Are they really expecting a Muslim to swear on the Bible? Here's a clue: If you want an oath to mean anything to a Muslim, having him swear on the Koran is a pretty neat idea. These are probably the same people who think its wrong for people in Quebec to speak French.

Increasingly, the term "anti-Semite" is coming to have less and less to do with being an admirer of Hitler or whatnot, and more and more to do with disagreeing with whatever the Likud Party and assorted & sundry Zionist war criminals are in favor of in any given week. Frankly, if they didn't have nuclear weapons, Israel would interest me about as much as Chad or Surinam. We can always buy our figs and falafel from Lebanon....

Another neo-"conservative" bites the dust. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I'm frankly getting a little sick of the media trying to shove the idea of a Barack Obama candidacy down my throat. Two years ago, the guy was a friggin' member of the Illinois state senate, who only got elected to the U.S. Senate because the Illinois GOP stupidly stabbed Jim Oberweiss in the back, and ran that imbecilc poltroon Alan Keyes instead. Its like someone was thinking, "Hmmm, Hillary Clinton is one of the most genuinely unappealing public figures of the post-Second World War era in American history, so she can't win the Presidency, but what if the Democrats don't nominate her? Then they might win! I know, let's get a Black freshman Senator who's middle name is "Hussein" to be her main opposition. That way there's no chance the Democratic Party can win the White House in 2008!"

Seriously, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are probably about the only two Democrats who couldn't win in 2008, so naturally they're the only two getting any attention from the dominant media. Tom Vilsack has a better chance of being President than Barack Obama. He's much better qualified for the job, too.
