Holy crap, it's like someone turned on a faucet. I don't think I've ever gotten so much spam mail. Luckily I have awesome filters set up and make extensive use of white-lists, so it's hardly a hassle to empty the spam folder, but I think there's probably upwards of 120-200 ...

| Anyone noticed a massive upswing in the amount of spam lately? Holy crap, it's like someone turned on a faucet. I don't think I've ever gotten so much spam mail. Luckily I have awesome filters set up and make extensive use of white-lists, so it's hardly a hassle to empty the spam folder, but I think there's probably upwards of 120-200 a day now! | I exclusively use gmail now because of spam. Maybe one a month slips through the filters. Still have my yahoo and hotmail accounts, but never use them. I even have SMTP on my server setup, but never use it either because of spam (too lazy to go through the learning period for spam assassin when gmail works so well). I also recently added in an anti-spam thing into my blog which has worked great, and changed forum softwares because of spam. Spam is certainly getting out of hand. | ||||
