| Dems Plans for AFTER the war? All I hear is the Democrats playing off "bring our troops home!" as a campaign slogan. But I heard Steven Colbert last night have an interesting point...what about AFTER the war is over? What are the democrats' plans then? I'm curious, because at the moment I have heard nothing about plans besides troop reductions in Iraq. Does anybody know by any chance what the Dems are planning for this country once the troops are home? | ||||

| I'm not saying the republicans have a great plan either. Personally I HATE political parties and the partisanship that follows it. I'm just curious about the Democrats plans, because atm all they can talk about is ending the war, and that's not gonna go on forever. | ||||

| i don't think anyone knows, lego ![]() i suspect the republicans will continue dealing with the issues they are dealing with now. considering bush has had quite a hectic time in presidency, i doubt it's gonna ease up anytime soon. | ||||

| I just told you what the main achievement of the plan is... What else do you want? Something else? I'm very active in democratic circles so ask me | ||||

| What do the democrats, if they take back congress and/or the presidency, plan for the Economy? Illegal immigration? Job Exportation? etc...Remember I am in no way making fun of the democrats I really am just curious. I really hate political parties period and feel this country would be better off without them. I vote whichever way I please...which at times tends to be conservative....and other times a bit more conservative . But if I felt the democrats honestly had a good, well thought out plan that could be implemented and sounded good, I'd vote democratic. I just hate the "death to religion!" and "America Sucks!" types. | ||||

| If the CF benefits are minimal, then don't use that as a good thing about it. Just say that you want more buildings green to save the environment or whatever. Plus I disagree with you about that being the government's job, but I know that's just because you and I have different views of what the purpose of the government is | ||||

| Hey man, if there was a size associated with being a democrat, you'd be the biggest one I've ever talked to... so I'm merely seeing why they think things through you. Pushing more on the actual subject: Taking money from the economy to help (or make?) people do something that they may or may not do on their own is good for the economy? I mean, seems to me the immediate result would be hurting the economy, and the eventual result would be a helping... whereas leaving well-enough alone would cause no immediate harm and would still have eventual good. Or so it seems | ||||
