| I can understand the dissaproval. We are in a long term military operation with a media that is (self-admitted) overwhelmingly liberal. That is where the media has chosen to focus its attention. Even then, they have focused entirely on the negative. The nation is experiencing an amazingly solid growth path, so solid that even escalating oil prices aren't denting it the way nay-sayers were hoping (is that the correct word?). The housing bubble, far from collapsing and throwing the economy into dissaray, is slowly deflating in a stable manner. Unemployment numbers are staying low, and college employment is near 100%. Finally, manufacturing numbers are staying high, indicating that this growth will continue for quite some time. Yet do you hear any of that? Hell no. Recently the Republican administration also had near complete vidication for their tax cuts when tax revenues for corporations, fueled by increased spending due to the tax cuts, reached record heights and led do a REDUCTION in the deficit. Amazing! Yet you don't hear a peep about it. | ||||

And so what that we have less casualties? DO we just say everything is ok as long as we don't break our old record?

Triffle and Tripe: We have soldiers dieing and their are problems in the reconstruction! Perspective: This 3 year military operation has had an unimaginably low level of military casualties and the government formation is proceeding at a pace never before seen in the history of the world.

At least our invasion of Iraq has made us safer. We beat the terrorists, got rid of Saddams WMD and made the world love us. And I love that you guys still use the aspirin factory story. Clinton gets bad intel = liberal smokescreen. Bush gets bad intel = It's the intelligence communities fault even though he ignored the people who were telling him the truth.
