Why are Republicans always trying to call out the Democrats for not having plans for the economy or Iraq or AIDS or whatever? I mean, sure the Republicans have plans but all their plans suck ass....

| Probably because the Democrats have yet to really speak with a single voice that lays out their core values like the Republicans have. I would wager that if you asked most people in America, they wouldn't be able to tell you what the Democratic party stood for But if you asked those same people about Republicans, you'd hear the answers smaller government, lower taxes, conservative social values, etc.. because they've done a better job of using their rhetoric to market those 'core values' that most of them pretend to 'share', even though when they get in office they dont stick to 'em. | ||||

the democrats have lost in the past. they are trying to get back into office. if they want to win, they have to prove to people why they are better. in order to do that, they have to have plans that prove they have better ideas. no plans, no votes. see? that's easy.

| One of the biggest drawbacks to the democratic party is that they encompass a LOT of agendas... that makes it VERY hard for them to speak with one voice | ||||

I heard a democrat say that the number of agendas contained within the democratic party is as many as there are democrats

| But does it really matter what their plans are? Everytime power changes hands...there are SOOOO many plans to do this or that...but those plans fail miserably or never get enacted in the first place. I think it's stupid to use "they have no real plan" as a means to bash one party or the other. | ||||
