And the Bible predicted that Israel would become a nation of its own again. I doubt the Bible had Germany in mind as the location of that new Israel.

I doubt they even considered what the Bible said when they made Israel.

It was just a side-note for the purposes of saying that the Bible would have been wrong if they built it in Germany.

It's more than a side note. It's the entire reason why Israel is a stupid idea. They chose the present location because their religious beliefs are that they should build a country there. It's call zionism. That's what makes the whole thing so absurd. They took a holy book, followed the instructions and built a state. It's religion behind the whole state of Israel, and only religion could justify such an otherwise stupid decision to locate their country in such ac contentious place. If religion weren't involved, and they just wanted a country to call their own, they would've picked somewhere more practical and peaceful like Germany...actually, anywhere in the world but the present place.

Gee, that seems the be the whole reason the Muslims want the territory too. I don't hear you criticizing them though.

I don't know that, at the time, anybody would have called Germany 'practical and peaceful' in relation to Jews.

1: "They don't want to" is NOT a valid reason to give them a country.

2: A pilgrimage to your holy land is a CHOICE. They wouldn't be "forced" to do anything.

Some things being said in this thread makes me sick.

As a Cherokee Indian I've experienced the kind of racism Jews have experienced in the modern age. "Why don't you go back to where you came from?" Is a statement I've actually had said to me.

This is also a thread that illustrates the weakness of logic, in that logic can be used to justify any action, no matter how unpalatable the action may be.

They never had the right to be there in the first place, so even if they haven't taken extra land (lol which they have), the original amount is still too much - and in the wrong place.
