| Is America ready for a female or minority president? It seems the two best prospects are either female or black. Not that I have anything wrong with that, but I wonder if the country, or even the world for that matter, is ready for either of them to be the leader of the free world? Personally, I have a hunch that a typical white male will also be in the running, and the Democratic party will side with him heavily. We'll have to see though, cause I have no idea who that might be at this point. | ||||

| I kinda agree with king. I think it's time we stop wondering whether or not we're "ready" and move beyond race / gender as a factor. Someones capability is not hindered by either factor IMO | ||||

| I think so. Well sort of. Actually I dont know. I haven't really met anyone who wouldn't vote for someone based on race or sex - but most everyone (that I have talked to) that supports Hillary or Obama, sort of seem simply interested on the basis that they are viable non-white male canidates. I think in some areas TOO MUCH is made of their non-white, and non-maleness, but at the same time (although not in my area of metro Minnesota), I think Too much is made of their non-whiteness and non-maleness (but in a negative way). | ||||

We all know there are innate differences between a man and woman. We all know those differences influence the way they think, and therefore the way they act. Personally, I wouldn't vote for Hillary mainly cause she's a total lib. | ||||

| I wouldn't vote for Hillary because she would give us the same national policies we got from the last three Presidents, only styled to appeal to Democratic voters, rather than Republican voters (I know this because its what her husband did; the only difference between the Clintons and the Bushes is stylistic). I want someone like Howard Dean, Ronald Reagan, George McGovern, Barry Goldwater, you know, someone who's Presidency wouldn't be the same as all the other failed ones. Plus Hillary comes off to me as a reprehensible, unkind, and downright awful human being. You just look at her, and you see Evil. As for Barack Obama, if he were a White guy named Burt O'Bama, no one would even know who he is, let alone be talking about him for President, which is how it should be. | Clinton is not electable in a general election and Obama is too new (not to mention he's killing his chances everytime he speaks). | ||||
