I wasn't aware that would be the platform he would be running on

I was under the impression he was lining up with the neo-"conservatives," who have spent the last several years talking about how war with Iraq and Afghanistan, and then Iran, and Syria, isn't sufficient; we need to attack our allies in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and (nuclear-armed) Pakistan too. I'd say that qualifies.

For "token libertarian candidate" you can add Ron Paul. He's running as a Republican, but he was previously a member of the Libertarian Party. He's a favorite amongst libertarians. I'll be voting for him if he makes it that far.

I'm all about electability, so its either Richardson or Clark

Clark still has to announce, like last time he is dragging his feet I see no reason he's not goin to eek along if he does announce and then enter and leave with a whimper

Richardson has the strong Latino support that could help in Nevada

Buchanan was the only one I liked on your poll.

Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo are great too.

He could appoint Lew Rockwell to Secretary of State or some other fantastic position!

I had voted for Giuliani on this poll. Buchanan was my #2 choice only because of his obsession to turn this into a "Christian" nation.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that I want this to be a "secular" nation or anything, I just don't think it should be a government concern. He really seems to push that agenda.

Besides his adherence to strict Protectionism and Christian America, he's still a great paleoconservative.

I am not sure how you say either of those two are more "electable" than Obama? I think he won me over during the last 1/2 hour of Deep Impact.

Realistically I see a lot of these guys dropping out early for lack of funds. I really do not see McCain because he does not have the full backing of the republican party and probably never will. I do see Guiliani eventually pulling ahead. On the Democratic side, Obama sounds good but he lacks the experience that a lot of people will look at in the end and I just do not see him having the money to battle Hilliary. Like her or hate her, she will take the nomination because she is still considered the stronger candidate out of the democratic bunch and I am now listening to women that hated her in the past now considering her for reasons other than her stances such as the fact of her just being a woman and running and or course the Bill Clinton Fans.

I constantly hear women who never registered, can't wait to register to vote for Hillary

I think Obama and Hillary are both mistakes, in the grand scheme of making sure we win and helping downtickets

I find it hard to believe we'll pickup a good 10 house seats, 3-4 senate seats, with Hillary or a black man named "Obama" at the top of the ticket

If Giuliani or Hillary make it through the primaries, he/she will get New York's vote. If both make it, it's tough to say who would get the vote; I'd think Hillary would get it if it were between the two of them.

That's my take, anyway. What do you guys think?
