Casino Royale kicked ass

I went in expecting to not like Craig as Bond, and not expecting to really enjoy the movie, but wow. It was great.

I really am surprised that it was as good as it was, even (or maybe especially?) without all the high tech stuff.. I left the theatre anticipating the next one.

I thought he was much better than Brosnan, and the movie was better than any of Brosnan's

What'd you guys think of it?

I agree, I went in thinking it was gonna suck and was surprised. I thought it was awesome. One of the best Bond movies ever.

I concur with these opinions. That guy pulled off bond pretty well.

craigs a dude, i saw layered cake and appreciated his performance, but i cannot imagine bond without the gadgets, as i've heard has been presented in this latest release. does that mean there were none, or simply much fewer? no car?

There were a lot of nice looking cars, but honestly there was almost 0 attention paid to technology stuff.. and surprisingly, it was refreshing.

I dunno, I left the theatre smiling and thinking "wow"

so i saw it. yeah, it was cool, and a definite departure from the previous themes. i didn't know before-hand that this was bond just entering into double-0 rank, and he is definitely more vulnerable in this offering.

a good flick.
