| Senator Kennedy Misled Us This guy is a joke, but the ironing of this "mistake" is overwhelming. So Kenney writes an editorial published in the Washington Post entitled "Roberts and Alito Misled Us." The catch is, in his own editorial, HE misquoted a Supreme court opinion. But what makes it even more interesting, is he altered the language of this opinion to bolster HIS OWN argument! The rest of the article is full of his usual dishonest cherry picking of quotes, misrepresentations and hypocrisy. I would kill to have Senator Kenney stand up to a confirmation hearing. I don't think he would be stupid enough to let that happen, but I would love to let him answer for all of his retarded errors, stupid quotes and generally dumb actions. Here's the editorial (with correction) for you guys to enjoy: washingtonpost.com | ||||

| I know Mass. is liberal, but I don't know why they keep voting him in. He belongs in jail, not on the Senate floor. That state would be better off with a vacant slot than Kennedy. Whenever I think Kennedy I think Mass.. dumb voters... they'll vote anyone in who claims to be liberal enough. | ||||

Basically the story is... he was leaving a party in the middle of the night with a young, single girl in the passenger seat. He somehow managed to drove off a bridge (assumed alcohol involved). He escaped the vehicle and left the girl to die. He went ashore where he claims he sat for a view minutes then ran back to the party and got his brother or something and told him what happened. A few people made claims that Kennedy attempted to use them as alibis. Nobody called 911 or any emergency service. Instead they ran back to the scene. Saw that they could no longer save her and left her there. Kennedy decided to go back to his hotel, but his hotel was on an island and the ferry had stopped running so he literally swam across the river to his hotel. When he woke up the car had been found and was being reported on the news. Then Kennedy reported the incident. He plead guilty and the judge didn't let him serve any time in prison. And still the people of Mass. continue to elect this guy.. Last edited by JaJae; 08-03-2006 at 04:36 PM..

| What happened in Chappaquiddick is a fact and very well documented. Anyone who says it didn't happen, really needs a reality check methinks. Federal Bureau of Investigation - Freedom of Information Privacy Act It has NOTHING to do with political affiliation and has EVERYTHING to do with a person being a good and decent human being... or not. | ||||

Kennedy is another story. He's proven to be an undebatable peice of shit, yet somehow people continue to vote him into office. If my senator got himself a young intern in his car and drove her off a bridge leaving her to her death.. I'd never vote for him again. Especially after he tried to cover up the incident and never called to get her help. I would be outraged if that said senator never went to prison or of the state continued to vote them back in power. It has nothing to do with party affiliation. If this said person belonged to any party I'd be saying the same thing. Once you do something like this your political carear is supposed to be ruined, you're supposed to be tainted. He plead guilty to essentially leaving this girl to die and not doing anything to seek her help. They say she didn't even drown. She suffocated in an air pocket in the foot well. There's a great chance they could have saved her if he would have just called for help. You're making this into a partisan issue for me and it's not. I'd say the same thing if Bush were to have done what Kennedy did.

Also when he went back to the party people have said Kennedy asked them to say he was there all night.
