Hillary 2008 Strategery

Two things in this post:

1. Obama

Dick Morris knows the Clinton's. In fact he spelled out on Fox just the other night that Hillary went after the women who made claims against Bill's behavior with private investigators. Perfectly legal if your PI's don't break the law, but a moral woman with a spine might suggest a husband keep his pants on! We know very well that if Monica didn't save the dress she would be just a lying slut to this day. But what does this have to do with Obama? Well, Dick says that she will go after him with the same personal smear tactics. Not directly, but through her "friends." I like Obama, but what has he said or done in the past we don't know about? Lets just hope he does not cave and become a Clinton VP?

No future in that!

2. President Mommy and Hillarycare light (See previous post)

This is what seems to be in the progressive wind. Healthcare for every child. What nasty mean person could be against that? Hillary brought it up in her President Mommy spot on the View. (NO I did not watch the view!

I saw a clip on Fox Beltway Boys). Also in California the liberal legislature, who has failed to get "Universal Healthcare" past Gov. Arnold, is working on the same idea. The most liberal proposal includes all children, legal and illegal, and will be paid by employers directly to workers children or into funds in a State Pool.
Parent responcibilty = 0 which is a great way to sell this wealth tranfer to voters even though the dopes will pay for it anyway with anything they buy. Just giving you the heads up on this one if you don't live in California. I see this moving National in under two years.

So don't you go hating the Children!

Why didn't the liberal legislature pass the idea past democrat Davis?

And for the 4 billionth time, Dick Morris knows jack, do a search on my posts regarding Dick Morris, he flip flops every week so he can claim credit when he's proven right on one of his guesses

Ex:
-Joe Lieberman will face sure defeat if he participates in the Dem Primary
-Bush will go at least to +45 in the polls after the british airline plots (never happened)

He's not only an anti-hillary hack, he's a fucking moron

He wasn't predicting much other than Hillary will go after Obama and do it in a way he has direct knowledge of in the past. Are you saying Obama won't get personal attacks directed by Hillary or her suporters? Stand by that prediction?

The second part was my prediction. It had nothing to do with Dick Morris. I just want it on record and we will see if this thread get a resurrection at some point?

I'll stand by my prediction that she won't be as dirty as republicans who claimed McCain fathered illegimate black children and that Dick Morris is a fucking hack who is constantly wrong and only by never shutting up and claiming all things is he ever proven right

Only if I had the genius of Dick Morris, I could write one article about how Democrats will pass a tax hike, and another one on how they won't, and then no matter what happens I can claim to be right!

The only strategy I can see working for her is to appeal to the millions of women that don't vote. With that block solidly behind her, I could see her having a real shot.

Considering how close the last few Presidential elections have been, a solid block of people who don't normally vote numbering in the millions, or hundreds of thousands, etc.. could easily swing the election.

Whether or not it will actually happen is another issue altogether. I suspect there would be lots of women who don't normally vote turning out to vote specifically against her if she were the nominee.

Unfortunately for Senator Hillary Clinton, long the front-runner in the Democratic drive to retake the presidency, most of them are coming at her expense.

I rather get the impression here you are implying that people are saying Hillary can't win because she's a woman. Her being a woman would almost certainly not be an obstacle to her winning the Presidency, and if anyone is saying otherwise, they're probably not very astute.

Hillary can't win the Presidency simply because she's one of the most obnoxious and singularly unappealing personalities to appear on the national political stage since the end of the Second World War, if not all of American history. Its also well understood that her views of social issues are substantially to the left of what 2/3rds of the American electorate would prefer. Almost everyone I know in the real world is saying that they're going to vote Democrat in 2008, unless Hillary is the nominee. Men & women alike detest her. That might ot be true in New York, lower New England, and a handful of other Democratic enclaves, but it is true in most of the country, including in states won by Gore and Kerry in the last two elections.

You seem to be describing someone who should be blown out by the two most beloved republicans, Rudy and McCain, yet she is beating them or within the MoE in all polls

It may be early, but if your sentiment was as widespread as beyond hyperactive net-activists, you'd see it in the polls

Last I saw, socialized medicine was very popular with voters.

You wouldn't know it from reading this message board, god knows I've tried, but I've tried to get Kossacks to come on here, but strangely enough they don't enjoy being berated by an enclave of right wingers far outside mainstream america

Why most Americans support universal healthcare or something similiar to it, social programs, gun control, and various other liberal programs, the only thing you'll find broad support on this board is contempt for Democrats, who captured 52% of the vote just a few weeks ago...

Last time any party did that, it was the Democrats in 1990 who ended up with 267 seats...thanks to GOP gerrymandering we only ended up with 233-234
