tower defense

OBJECTIVES
Your objective is to prevent the hordes of round monsters from getting to your castle. You can choose from a number of elemental defence towers and other defences to place along the road to your castle.

The monsters grow in strength by 1.25 every turn, so it will get harder and harder to kill them.

You can upgrade your towers or purchase more expensive defence systems as you progress through the game. You're going to need to do this carefully, otherwise the monsters will overrun your castle before you know it!

The game ends when all your civilians have been killed by the monsters!

I can get 72 consistently, 75 that once...I would have probably had 76 or 77 if I hadn't fucked up early and accidently let one guy slip past to kill a civilian around round 20.

I have no idea how that guy got to 90.

If we're posting spoilers, IMO the fire ones are a waste of money.

my strategy, till now, has centered on those.

they fire the shortest distance but, fully loaded, pack a punch.

I got sick of it after a few times, I don't like games where I have to guess ranges and to advance significantly further I'd need to break out a pen and paper

the green ones have more range and do more damage

See where the white box is? I had a green tower there and it was totally max'ed out.



That leaf got "stuck" and the tower disappeared and I didn't get back the money I'd spent building it up. Has that happened to anyone else?

I'm pissed... that game ended at round 72. I think I could have gotten 4 or 5 more rounds if that tower didn't disappear.

yes, if you put four together in a box close enough together one will disappear with no compensation.

There's no way to sell your towers...

Otherwise I don't see how anyone could get the level 3 flower tower, I can get level 2 but it sucks and is a total waste of money
