curious...why host all those videos on your own site instead of using youtube or something to save bandwidth?

i don't need to save bandwidth really, i mean i have plenty and never go over each month, plus this way SOME people who "steal" the video actually do link to my site, and some of the ads on my site are pay per impression...so just by someone clicking onto my site rather than youtube, i'm making money. really no reason NOT to host them myself rather than sending traffic to youtube.

Dude, you really should try to get an interview with Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss from orthodox jews against zionism. I saw him on Glenn Beck and he's very intereting. Most people look at him like he has three eyes because they don't see any difference between Judaism and zionism. He basically thinks Israel's existence is causing all the problems there now.

interesting, I will contact him or have the producer of my show contact him.

I want to have someone who is "against" gay marriage...what might be the way to go in terms of contacting someone? i.e. someone from what group or organization?

Seems like there are a shitload of organizations if you type in "family values" and the like in google...off the top of my head, orgs would be focus on the family and the traditional values coalition...or a representative from any one of the 11tybillion religous organizations out there...you could even get a random priest from your local catholic church, and, in effect, he'd be speaking on behalf of the Catholic Church (tm)...because unlike the other denominations that make shit up as they go, theoretically, priests from the catholic church all speak with one voice stemming from what the Pope says.

yeah the catholic idea might be interesting, but i'd probably go towards one of those family values organizations, that might be more interesting, and maybe come off as less "anti-religious."

IMO, it's disingenuous to try to frame the anti-gay marriage point of view in secular terms. The reality is that it's a religiously based position, first and foremost, which some try to justify with secular arguments. Personally, I'd love to hear a secular argument against it that I find persuasive, because haven't yet. It's no coincidence that it's all religious conservatives pushing the issue, and the Republicans use it to play to their evangenical base. At any rate, when you find someone, it be interesting for you to ask them whether this is really a religous issue at heart, and if so, what business the government has meddling in it.

Oh, and PLEASE ask them how, even if the traditional family forms the basis of our society, gay marriage would threaten anything. If I'm a married heterosexual man with a family, and Adam and Steve move in next door, I'm not suddenly going to divorce my wife, abandon my children, and start fucking the pool boy, Jorge, in the ass. Seems to me the only people's lives gay marriage would change would be gay people's, and they weren't participating in traditional families anyway.

absolutely, the guest would be making arguments based on religion either way, but given that, i would still prefer to have someone affiliated with something other than a church
