| New Orleans Fears Another Hurricane Print Story: New Orleans nervously eyes tropical storm Chris on Yahoo! News
How can these people expect sympathy if they get hit again? Seriously, if they get hit again they might as well close New Orleans for good. Stop wasting our money.

| If New Orleans wasn't such an important port I think we probably would have abandoned it long ago.. and honestly, if as a nation, we're not willing to invest the billions and billions of dollars needed to ensure the levees are state of the art and anyone living there is protected, we should probably abandon it now. It's a losing battle | ||||

We once rode our a Category 3. Hurricane Floyd I think it was. Worst fucking choice in our lives. The insurance had plenty of fun with our roof. Which was displaced, and semi replaced. My family was here during Andrew, but where I lived, we didn't get hit too hard. Hurricanes are a pain in the ass. Insurance companies hate us down here in Miami. Very expensive also.

| Well, if insurance companies pull out it'll be hard to rebuild. Maybe it's destined for failure either way | ||||
