You think liberals are lieing then we need some sort of evidence, republicans, democrats, they all lie and it is not merely a pre requisite for being liberal. Lets keep this thread on topic.

Yes and if you noticed in the articles talkign about it, the choice is between "healthy children" and a higher tax for those making 500k a year or more. I find it hilarious that these same people talk about protecting the rights of the minority, unless of course that minority has money, in which case they should be free to garnish their wages at a higher rate than the rest of the country....its discrimination and a violation of the equal protection clause...yet it happens over and over and the government continues to get away with it. Discrimination is evil, unless you have money!

Instead lets focus on the fact we removed fascist/imperialist PNAC members from power who have no ethical or moral regard for the constitution. I feel liberated and will greet the new government as liberators. I will be on the street with my flower and flag if you need me. Cindy Sheehan is in her last throws, i really believe that.

If the republicans had been touting around a policy of expanding the work week and then took off for Football games and stupid things, we'd be seeing the same thread with the opinions of half the people here reversed.

Agreed. This is reaching.

I fully expect us to have a thread on Kerry using a salad fork to eat his desert in the next two years.

When did he buy a desert? And which did he buy? And if the desert is expending does that include all the area it expands into or is there a set boundary?

I just find it hilarious that after EVERYTHING that has happened over the last six years, we start with them taking the day off as lying, misleading, or hypocritical.

And then the democrats take a day off in 2007 and we get a thread that is like "LOL at liberals.com". How about the president being on vacation 30% of the time and didn't realize there was a hurricane until 3 days later? His vacation is ok though isnt it?

Oh man, the Democrats are being nice to the Republicans top leader in the House, let's spend 92834 pages bashing them for it because they took a day off, a day when probably most democrats will be hard at work planning the total blitz that is going to occur this week tuesday-friday...

BTW if you go to
http://www.majorityleader.gov/docUpl...rscalendar.pdf

You can see the "extremely lazy schedule" of democrats working everyday in january except MLK and today

Go look up the other days and you'll see they are calling for full sessions basically 5 days a week in february and march something like 5/7 weeks with 3 weeks having a *gasp* friday off

So instead of 3 days of basically little to no legislative work...no oversight hearings...we have 5 days, sometimes 4 days, of full votes, all the hearings you can take...working their ass off

But yeah, they're all lazy bastards breaking their promises for vacations to exotic golf resorts with Jack Abramoff
