| It's just that we are all so familiar with those words now thanks to the current Administration, so they are sticking with terminology that we know... | ||||

| i think IminWonderland is right, since those are words that have become 'popularized' or almost 'glamourized' in the recent years, they are now the catchy terms. of course it's sensationalism, but that's what sells, right? | ||||

Of course they are going to make you think you need to see their broadcast. Companies make you think you need to buy their things and that's the center of advertisement. That's all this really is.

It's like my Mom who like to rant about swear words. She says "swear words meant something in my time. now they mean nothing because people use them all the time". Guess what. She uses them a lot and she still thinks they have meaning. And try swearing to a cop. They think those words still have meaning.

| The point is when it comes to words like that, you begin to become desensitzied to them and what they really mean when used in more serious instances. It's like what happens when someone watches too much porn, eventually they become desensitized mentally. Words are just words obviously, whether you're offended or whatever is a personal choice when it comes to swearing, but stuff like this (while not a big deal), is, imo, indicitive of why we seemingly don't care so much about things that happen in other parts of the world, like the Sudan, etc.. | ||||
