| Shit, when I was in elem. school they fed us crap. Soon after I left they started installing soda and candy machines. I don't know how teachers can teach if all the kids are strung out on sucrose. I'll agree that parents should pay more attn to what they feed their kids, but what does childhood obesity have to do with attractive women having low self esteem? | ||||

| Not eating enough meat can cause weird mood swings and depression. Bust out some steak skills JaJae. You wanna make a good fucking meal (good for you and good tasting) do a steak and some steamed or grilled asparagus with a vinegarette (homemade if you wanna be cool). You eat meat and one or two veggies for dinner every night and moods will go up, I promise. | ||||

| She eats meat, she doesn't like beef all that much. I just keep trying to get her to eat more of it. She's doesn't really diet or anything, just eats healthy. | ||||

| She's a pretty girl and by just about anyone's standards she'd be considered skinny, not average or above average. As she said though: I've heard it from my parents, people I go to school with, people I work with, people I dance with... Her parents are just throwing their own insecurities about weight and perception on to her. Her friends at school are just ridiculous and most of the ones who would say something to her weight more than she does. I don't know the people she works with. And dancers are just stuck up bitches. The anorexic girls like to make comments so they don't feel so bad about their appearance. She's surrounded by a lot of negative influences: her parents, sorority girls, and anorexic dancers. | ||||

| There's a lot of methods of eating healthy and not all of them are healthy. I was just pointing out that food can affect mood. And I'll tell you what I tell EVERYONE who says they don't like something: they just haven't had GOOD "that something" yet. Inexpensive but good steak: ribeye, marinate in whatever you like (I like Dale's but there are other good ones too), don't cook past medium, and be sure to cut across the grain of the steak (you cut with the grain and the steak is chewy, you cut across the grain and it falls apart in your mouth). Mmm Mmm Steak. | ||||

I like opinions. I like to feed my curiosities. That's why I asked. I wasn't looking for anything in particular. Everyone could have said something negative and I wouldn't hav ebeen offended. | ||||

| Jajae is kind...he loves me so his opinion is biased, though every opinion counts. (My way of avoiding whether I believe in what he is saying) I have tried meat. Jajae has taken me out several times to try it, I don't like it. But I do eat chicken, fish, and protein in other forms such as soy. And if perchance I do think I am fat, I do work out. I take dance classes at least two times a week. I go to the gym every day I don't dance. I run. I walk to campus from my apartment instead of taking the bus as long as the weather is good. I think i have responded to every post...except pictures. I can't put pictures up on the sight, I have trouble uploading them, sorry. | ||||

| My fiance is about 5'7". She used to be a swimmer so she is fairly athletic as well. She is always trying to lose weight and wants to be paris hilton size basically. I think she is shooting for about 105-110 I'd rather she stay well above 115. Being super skinny doesn't make you more attractive. If you are 135+ just keep with the excercise imo, lots of bigger girls look good if they are tone. When I met my fiance she was somewhere between 130 and 140 and looked damn good. She doesn't have the muscle she had then so she lost alot of weight, but one size wasn't really better than the other is what I trying to get across. cliffs: I like meat so long as it doesn't hang. | ||||

Look, just like what I tell my wife, the first thing JaJae saw when he met you was how you look. He didn't see your personality, he didn't see your sense of humor, he didn't see any of that other shit that he says he loves about you. It was how you look that STARTED the conversation that ended up in you having a relationship (I guess I could be wrong if you guys met online or whatever, but I'm just assuming you two followed the same progression as my wife and I). As much as women like to think it is, a man's love for her is NOT unconditional. A mother's love for her child is unconditional, but if you broke up with JaJae or cheated on him or bit his wang off, I bet his love would greatly diminish. Therefore, there is a lack of bias. If JaJae tells you you're pretty (as long as he's being honest) then you look pretty. He's not saying "Of course you look pretty because I love you" he's saying "you look pretty because you are physically appealing to me"... either that or he's lying (from the sounds of it, he's not).
So, no bias. If you think you can not trust him then that's different than bias (that is, if he says it and you don't believe he's telling you the truth, then you don't trust him). You can get iron from certain veggies such as spinach, but the amount and complexity is different. Soy products aren't near as good for you as vegans would have you believe... raw beans (edamame) aren't bad because they lack the processing of other products, but you should certainly not rely on soy as a source of anything (I'm not saying don't eat it, just don't rely on it to be good for you).
It sucks you don't like red meat though ![]() Originally Posted by curlyque221 Just email me some and I'll post them up for you. Problem solved

| Yeah, you gotta watch that Iron...it's the whole bleeding thing that can throw us off... You know, I know what you mean by all of this, because sometimes just hearing it, isnt good enough. It doesn't feel like enough, it doesn't feel justified, and you don't see what everyone else is seeing. You know your own flaws better than anyone else, there is no need for anyone to point them out to you. The whole bias thing has more to do with that long term love between two people, things like compliments can seem like something that is done out of routine and not sincerity so it can be hard to take it more than just words. I think you should do something that feels good. Pedicure...manicure.....hair done...or screw all that, and do a one day pass to a day spa and just hang out in your own skin for a day. Do something on your own for yourself and do it for no one else but you. | ||||
