And remember that even Abrams tanks are being taken out by the IEDs, so the armor doesnt give you that much protection.

But it is not a yes or no answer. War is war and sometimes good people die. sometimes a soldiers death is avoided by good training/soldiering.

Race car drivers die in car wrecks also and they are pro drivers. Just because we have troops that died from attacks doesn't mean they all were bad troops. sometimes Sh*t happens. On the other hand a good troop has better odds of surviving IEDS and Snipers because of his soldiering skills.

how many sniper fire drills have you ran? I think I have you beat. How many hours have you spent learning and studying about IEDs? I think I have you beat.
